Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams and her NASA colleague Butch Wilmore, currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS), shared their excitement on Saturday about casting their votes in the 2024 US presidential elections from space. The astronauts highlighted the importance of fulfilling their civic responsibilities even while in orbit. Williams noted that they had already submitted their requests for ballots, saying, “Looking forward to voting from space, which is pretty cool.”
