Renowned Indian playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan recently opened up about her experience working with Pakistani artists during her conversation on Raj Shamani’s podcast, expressing her admiration for their talent and professionalism. Sunidhi, who has collaborated with several Pakistani musicians throughout her career, emphasized that music transcends boundaries and brings people together, regardless of nationality.
Sunidhi exclaimed in Hindi, “I’ve worked with many talented artists from Pakistan, and I truly believe we share a lot in common. Our languages, looks, and even our food and culture have so much in common. “Whenever I meet Pakistani friends abroad, Canada, the US, or the UK, it’s clear how similar we are. There is no difference. Pakistani music has really taken off because it’s made with so much love and dedication. Their industry is vibrant, and their artists are celebrated widely, both in Pakistan and here in India,” said Sunidhi during chat on Raj Shamani’s podcast . Sunidhi’s comments come at a time when cross-border collaborations in the entertainment industry often face scrutiny. However, she firmly believes that music has the power to unite people and bridge cultural divides. Her words serve as a reminder that the universal language of music can foster understanding and harmony, even in the face of political differences.
