Dhanush’s landmark 50th film, “Raayan,” is making waves at the box office, poised to become his biggest success. As per Sacnilk, the film’s Day 3 collection surpassed Day 2, with early estimates at Rs 14.75 crore, pushing the total domestic collection to Rs 42.75 crore. While the Tamil version dominates the earnings, the Telugu version has shown positive signs, despite the Hindi version underperforming due to limited publicity.
Competing with films like “Kalki 2898 AD,” which earned Rs 4 crore on its 5th Sunday, “Raayan” maintains strong occupancy rates—67.31% for Tamil and a slight increase to 27.21% for Telugu. Directed by Dhanush and backed by Sun Pictures, “Raayan” features Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, and SJ Suryah. AR Rahman’s music and Om Prakash’s cinematography are receiving rave reviews, further contributing to the film’s success.
