Punjab Speaker asks NRIs to invest in Punjab, offers full government support

Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, currently on a tour in the United States, urged Punjabis living abroad to invest in Punjab, assuring them of the state’s full support. Speaking at an event hosted by the Consulate General of India in San Francisco at the Ghadar Memorial Hall, Sandhwan expressed his gratitude to the Consulate team. He highlighted that Punjab’s Industries Department is simplifying investment processes through a single-window service, facilitating easier access to industry-related services.

Sandhwan reaffirmed the Punjab government’s commitment to resolving any issues faced by Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), emphasizing a special system in place to address their concerns efficiently. He underscored the deep-rooted connection that Punjabis share with their homeland, regardless of their location, and invited NRIs to invest in Punjab, pointing to the state’s strong heritage and supportive community spirit.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Consul General Dr. Srikar Reddy, Deputy Consul General Adhlakha, Paul Sahota, Dr. Ramesh Yapra, Dr. Harmesh Kumar, Jaspreet Singh (Attorney at Law), Gulwinder Gill, and Gurdeep Singh Gill, who also shared their insights.
