Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with HH Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, on Monday. The two leaders discussed strengthening the multifaceted relations between India and the UAE, exploring new avenues to enhance their comprehensive strategic partnership, according to Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, who shared the update on X (formerly Twitter).
Several significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between the two nations, including:
- An MoU on Barakah Nuclear Power Plant Operations and Maintenance between Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC) and Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL),
- A long-term LNG supply agreement between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited,
- An MoU between ADNOC and India Strategic Petroleum Reserve Limited (ISPRL),
- A Production Concession Agreement for Abu Dhabi Onshore Block 1 between Urja Bharat and ADNOC,
- An MoU between the Government of Gujarat and Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company PJSC (ADQ) on the development of food parks in India.
