New Delhi, September 21
India’s Prime Minister has commenced a three-day visit to the United States, where he will participate in the Quad Summit, hosted by US President Joe Biden in Wilmington, and address the Summit of the Future at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The Quad Summit, a strategic forum that includes Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, has become a key platform for cooperation on security, economic, and development issues in the Indo-Pacific region. The leaders are expected to focus on promoting peace and stability in the area.
During his meeting with President Biden, the Indian Prime Minister will review the India-U.S. Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership and explore new ways to strengthen bilateral ties for mutual and global benefit. The visit will also include meetings with the Indian diaspora and top U.S. business leaders, who the Prime Minister described as vital contributors to the enduring partnership between the world’s largest and oldest democracies.
“I will be on a visit to USA, where I will take part in various programmes. I will attend the Quad Summit being hosted by President Biden at his hometown Wilmington. I look forward to the deliberations at the Summit. I will also be having a bilateral meeting with President Biden. In New York, I will be attending the Summit of the Future. I will also be addressing a community programme in the city ,” Prime Minister said in his post on X previously known as Twitter.
