The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released its first list of 29 candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for February. Notably, former West Delhi MP Parvesh Verma has been fielded to contest against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency. In another significant move, former South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri will challenge Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and current Chief Minister Atishi from the Kalkaji constituency.
