Nayab Singh Saini Sworn in as Haryana Chief Minister for 2nd time

Nayab Singh Saini was sworn in as Chief Minister of Haryana in a grand ceremony held in Panchkula on Thursday. Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath of office and secrecy to Nayab Singh Saini, who became the Chief Minister for a second time.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel were present in the swearing-in ceremony function. Other MLAs who took oath as Cabinet ministers on the occasion include Anil Vij, Krishan Lal Panwar, Aarti Singh Rao, Shyam Singh Rana, Shruti Chaudhary, Ranbir Singh Gangwa, Krishan Bedi, Arvind Sharma, Vipul Goyal, Mahipal Dhanda, Rajesh Nagar, Rao Narbir and Gaurav Gautam.

After the swearing-in ceremony, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar expressed gratitude to National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders, chief ministers, and deputy chief ministers from various states for their attendance.“This is the first time since 1980 that any party has formed a government thrice in Haryana or any other state. It is only the BJP that has achieved this milestone in several states,” Khattar said.
