Main Suspect in Chandigarh Grenade Blast arrested: Punjab DGP

In a joint operation with a central agency, Punjab Police has arrested the main perpetrator of the Chandigarh Grenade Blast case, according to a post by Punjab DGP, Gaurav Yadav, on X (formerly Twitter). The arrest of Rohan Masih, a resident of village Passia of Amritsar Rural, has led to the identification of other accused as well. During the operation, a 9MM Glock pistol and ammunition were recovered from Masih’s possession.

Further investigation to uncover the full conspiracy is being carried out in collaboration with the Chandigarh Police. The accused is currently in the custody of the State Special Operation Cell (#SSOC) Amritsar. In his preliminary statement, Rohan admitted to his involvement in the grenade blast that occurred in Chandigarh on September 11. The Punjab Police emphasized their commitment to maintaining peace and harmony in the region.
