Investigators have released CCTV footage related to the rape and murder of a 31-year-old trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. The footage shows the accused, Sanjoy Roy, entering the hospital shortly after midnight on August 9. The CCTV footage reveals a Bluetooth earphone around Roy’s neck. According to sources cited by NDTV, CCTV footage captured Roy entering the hospital at 1:03 am. During interrogation, the police presented him with the CCTV evidence, after which Roy allegedly confessed to the crime.
