New Delhi, November 16

Indian intelligence agencies have released a detailed dossier accusing Pakistan of harboring terrorists and orchestrating attacks in India, from the 26/11 Mumbai attacks to recent incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. The document underscores a pattern of cross-border terrorism and heightened security concerns, the news outlet WION reported.

On November 15, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) faced a major setback when the International Cricket Council (ICC) requested the cancellation of the Champions Trophy trophy tour in Skardu, Hunza, and Muzaffarabad, cities located in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The decision followed objections raised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), citing security and political concerns.

The dossier lists major terror attacks linked to Pakistan-based groups, including the 2013 Hyderabad blasts, the 2015 Gurdaspur and Udhampur assaults, the 2016 Uri and Nagrota attacks, and the 2019 Pathankot airbase attack. Recent incidents, such as the October 20 Sonamarg attack that killed seven civilians, further illustrate the ongoing threat.

The release of the intelligence report has heightened security concerns for Indian cricketers, reinforcing the BCCI’s commitment to prioritizing safety over international sporting commitments. The report provides evidence linking Pakistan-based organizations to terror attacks in India. Documents recovered from neutralized terrorists reveal that they had been residing in Pakistan for years while planning and executing attacks on Indian soil, the news outlet India Today said.
