As diplomatic tensions between India and Canada escalate over the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, as India has added a Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) official, Sandeep Singh Sidhu, to its list of wanted terrorists. According to official sources, India is urging action against several Canadian nationals, including Sandeep Singh Sidhu, an employee of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and alleged member of a Khalistani group, for his involvement in promoting terrorist activities in Punjab.

Sidhu, also known as Sunny, has emerged as a key figure linked to Pakistan-based Lakhbir Singh Rode and other ISI operatives. He is accused of orchestrating the targeted killing of Comrade Balwinder Singh Sandhu in Punjab in October 2020, in collaboration with gangster Sukhmeetpal Singh, also known as Sukh Bhikhariwal.

Sidhu, recently promoted to Superintendent within the CBSA, is allegedly involved with pro-Khalistan terrorists, including USA-based Gurjot Kaur, a radical figure who claims to be the widow of Pakistan-based KLF Chief Harmeet Singh, and Pakistani ISI officers. Indian authorities have expressed concerns over his continued association with extremist elements and are pushing for Canadian action in light of these developments.
