Haryana Assembly Elections underway: 1,027 Candidates Contesting for 90 Seats

Voting for Haryana’s assembly elections commenced at 7 am and will conclude at 6 pm. A total of 1,027 candidates are contesting for 90 seats across the state. The ruling BJP is aiming for a third consecutive term, while the Congress hopes to return to power after a decade. Notable candidates include incumbent Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, wrestler and Congress candidate Vinesh Phogat, and JJP’s Dushyant Chautala.
