Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, instructed shooters to intimidate Salman Khan, according to a chargesheet filed by the Crime Branch. The 1,735-page document includes audio clips where Anmol tells shooters Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal to appear fearless by not wearing helmets and smoking cigarettes while firing at Khan’s Mumbai home on April 14. Salman Khan’s statement in the chargesheet reveals his family’s fear of Anmol Bishnoi’s threats. Conversations on the Signal app show Anmol directing the shooters to fire in a way that would scare the actor and ensure they are seen smoking on CCTV cameras.
The chargesheet also mentions Lawrence Bishnoi’s involvement from jail and Anmol’s promise of making history if the attack succeeded. Anmol, reportedly in Canada, is a wanted fugitive with a lookout circular issued against him. The shooters and accomplices are now in judicial custody.
