Dunzo, Practo, and Rapido Exit Hurun India’s Future Unicorns List

Popular startups Dunzo, Practo, and Rapido are among the 25 companies that have dropped out of the Hurun India Future Unicorn Index 2024. This shift occurs even as the collective valuation of India’s potential future unicorns has surged to $58 billion, a 1.8% increase from the previous year.

The companies exiting the list span various sectors, including fintech, e-commerce, manufacturing, healthcare, and more. Other notable startups leaving the index include Jar, Bizongo, Fashinza, Arzooo, Avataar, Park+, Paper Boat, SirionLabs, WayCool, Axio, Dotpe, Jai Kisan, Melorra, Ultraviolette, mFine, and RenewBuy. Each of these companies faced unique challenges that contributed to their departure from the prestigious list.

Despite these exits, the overall landscape for future unicorns in India remains robust, with a significant rise in their collective valuation. This development highlights the dynamic nature of the startup ecosystem and the evolving challenges and opportunities within it.
