Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh delighted fans at his recent concert by unveiling a mashup of his hit “Naina” with Ed Sheeran’s chart-topper “Shape of You.” The surprise collaboration took place during Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour 2024, where he welcomed Sheeran on stage to perform together.
The concert, held in Birmingham, saw both artists share the spotlight, with Dosanjh and Sheeran posting highlights on their social media. Sheeran expressed his appreciation on Instagram, stating, “Returning the favour to my brother @diljitdosanjh tonight in Birmingham, what an amazing atmosphere, thanks for having me!”
In response, Dosanjh shared a heartfelt message on his social media platform “@teddysphotos My BROTHER Shut Down BIRMINGHAM, What A Night 🙌🏽🔥 LOVE & RESPECT ✊🏽 Thank You Birmingham Waleya BAUT Pyar.”
Fans went wild over a video featuring the two singers sharing a warm hug backstage, further fueling excitement among their followers. Looking ahead, Dosanjh is gearing up for his Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024, set to kick off next month. He has recently added a second show in New Delhi, along with stops in Jaipur and Mumbai. The tour will commence on October 26 in New Delhi, followed by performances in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, and Kolkata, culminating in Guwahati on December 29.
