Delhi Police have seized drugs worth Rs 5,600 crore in one of the city’s largest-ever narcotics busts. Reacting to drug recovery, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleged on Thursday that Tushar Goyal, one of the arrested suspects, is the head of the RTI cell for the Indian Youth Congress’s Delhi wing.

Four individuals were arrested, including Goyal (40) from Vasant Enclave, along with his associates Himanshu (40), Aurangzeb Siddiqui (23), and their receiver Bharat Kumar Jain (48). The drugs, which included 562 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of hydroponic marijuana, were seized by the Special Cell of Delhi Police from Mahipalpur Extension in South West Delhi. The contraband, linked to an international drug-smuggling operation, is estimated to be worth Rs 5,640 crore, the police said.
