Union Minister of State for Railways, Ravneet Singh Bittu, has voiced strong criticism of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau following a reported attack on a Hindu temple in Canada.

“The recent developments and the situation unfolding in Canada are not limited to any one religious community. Whether Hindu or Sikh, PM Trudeau has created divisions across the board,” Bittu said in a statement issued here on Monday. He accused Khalistani supporters of disrupting peace by gathering outside religious sites during the festive season.

“The Canadian police appear to be standing in support of these Khalistanis,” Bittu said, warning that such actions “will not be tolerated.” He added, “We are prepared to take measures against the Canadian government at any level necessary.”

Bittu further alleged that individuals promoting Khalistani slogans were acting on behalf of external interests, implying they were on the government’s payroll.
