Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced his decision to step down within the next two days, stating that the next Chief Minister will be chosen after a meeting with party leaders. During his address on Sunday, Kejriwal expressed his commitment to return as CM if the people of Delhi restore their faith in him and the party, declaring him “honest” through their votes.
Kejriwal also called for the Delhi elections to be held in November, aligning with the Maharashtra elections, emphasizing the importance of a transparent and timely electoral process.
In addition, he confirmed that former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will not assume any position in the government until the people of Delhi affirm his honesty and deliver a decisive mandate in the upcoming Assembly elections. Kejriwal’s statements underscore AAP’s focus on integrity and public trust as central to their governance approach.
