Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Supriya Sule on Wednesday dismissed allegations linking her to a Bitcoin scam, calling them baseless and politically motivated. “I deny all allegations made by Sudhanshu Trivedi. This is pure conjecture and innuendo,” Sule told reporters after casting her vote. “I am ready for a public debate with any BJP representative at a time and place of their choice.”
Sule accused Trivedi of spreading misinformation to mislead voters ahead of elections. “It’s appalling but not surprising,” she said, adding that her lawyer would file civil and criminal defamation cases against him. Earlier, Sule urged citizens to participate in the elections. “I cast my vote in Baramati with my family. I encourage everyone in Maharashtra to vote in large numbers to uphold Constitutional values and ensure honest governance,” she posted on X, formerly Twitter.
NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) chief Sharad Pawar dismissed the allegations against his daughter, Supriya Sule, accusing the BJP of spreading falsehoods. “Only the BJP can collaborate with individuals who have served time in jail to propagate such baseless claims,” the veteran leader asserted.
While Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, addressing allegations of election manipulation involving cryptocurrency, said, “The audio clip in circulation will be examined, and the truth will come out.”
