Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that a robust wave of support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is emerging across Haryana, marked by the chant: “Bharosa dil se…BJP phir se!” Speaking at a rally in Palwal, Modi expressed confidence that Haryana’s political climate mirrors that of Delhi, suggesting a third consecutive term for the BJP government in the state, following the party’s recent victory in Delhi.
The Prime Minister invoked the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, emphasizing Haryana’s legacy of hard work and urging citizens to dedicate themselves to progress. He criticized the Congress party, claiming its politics revolve around inaction and obstructing others’ efforts. Prime Minister Modi pointed out the internal strife within Congress, highlighting the discontent among Dalit, backward, and marginalized communities.
“The Dalit community has decided not to be used as pawns in the politics of father-son duos,” he said, praising the BJP’s inclusive approach. He commended Haryana Chief Minister Saini for his humility and leadership.
The Prime Minister also highlighted alleged corruption within Congress, asserting that only 15 paise of every rupee sent to the poor reached its intended recipients. He condemned Congress for failing to address critical national issues, including the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the implementation of the Constitution in Jammu and Kashmir. He criticized the party for neglecting the reservation of women in Parliament and Assemblies and for leaving Muslim women in limbo regarding the triple talaq issue, stating that Congress prioritizes family power over national solutions.
