Chandigarh, September 30

Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi declared on Monday that the Congress Party will form a government in Haryana, promising a shift from the current administration. Speaking at a rally in Haryana he termed the upcoming election as a battle of ideologies between Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

“The fight is between justice and injustice,” Gandhi asserted, emphasizing the Congress Party’s unity and dedication to ending what he termed the “decade of pain” for the people of Haryana.

He predicted the formation of a government representing all 36 communities, stating, “A government that ensures justice for everyone is on the horizon. A Congress storm is coming to Haryana — the situation will change!”

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi also addressed the gathering, highlighting the struggles faced by women due to rising inflation as the festival season approaches. “While we celebrate, there is anxiety about where the money will come from,” she said. She criticized the BJP government for its policies, accusing it of undermining farmers’ rights and branding them as traitors. “The future of farmers and youth in Haryana has been thrown into darkness, and the BJP government is responsible for this,” she stated.
