Elon Musk could become the world’s first trillionaire by 2027, according to Informa Connect Academy. Musk, CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and X (formerly Twitter), has seen his wealth grow at an average annual rate of 110%, reaching $251 billion in 2024, making him the world’s richest person, as per the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Indian business tycoon Gautam Adani could follow in 2028, along with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Indonesian mogul Prajogo Pangestu. Other potential trillionaires by 2030 include LVMH’s Bernard Arnault and Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, the media reports said.
Musk recently faced backlash over a controversial post on X, which he later deleted, and has announced support for Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential run. The debate around trillionaires continues, highlighting concerns about wealth concentration and its societal impact.
