A malfunctioning helicopter being towed to Gauchar for repairs by an Indian Air Force MI-17 chopper crashed in the hills near Kedarnath on Saturday morning. Fortunately, there were no casualties as the helicopter was unoccupied at the time, according to Rudraprayag’s District Tourism Officer, Rahul Chaubey.
