Key Terrorist Linked to ISI Module held in Delhi

In a significant development ahead of Independence Day, Delhi Police apprehended Rizwan Ali, a key terrorist wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Ali, a resident of Daryaganj, Delhi, was arrested near Ganga Baksh Marg at around 11pm.

Authorities recovered a .30 bore pistol, three live cartridges, and two mobile phones from his possession. Ali, previously part of the Pune Module of ISIS and on the run, is now under investigation for his presence in Delhi at this critical time, The Statesman reported.

In preparation for Independence Day, Delhi Police have enhanced security measures, including posting images of terrorists linked to Al-Qaeda and Khalistan around the city. The public is encouraged to report any information about these individuals, with assurances of confidential handling and rewards for useful tips.

Punjab Police have also increased security with spot checks at bus stands across the state.
